Research and Teaching have always been a part of Dan’s professional life leading to over 60 peer-reviewed publications, many book chapters and awards.

Dan teaches at every level from medical students through to postgraduate surgeons. He also runs a prestigious surgical fellowship in Cardiff which is highly regarded internationally.

Dan is an Honorary Lecturer at the University of Cardiff, he is on the Royal College of Ophthalmologists Sustainability Committee, is an Executive Committee Member of the British Ophthalmic Surveillance Unit and the European Group on Graves Orbitopathy, is a Council member of the British Faculty of Sport and Exercise Medicine and is a Member of the British Oculoplastic Surgical Society.

Dan is also on the prestigious Council of the Oxford Ophthalmological Congress helping to organise and chair the Annual Meeting.

colleagues using state of the art materials and design technology.
